The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable message from London as at the close of business last week:—-“Wethers. —There is a moderate demand: the market ;s weaker for heavy-weights. Ewes.--Weaker values ere ruling owing to lack of demand. Lambs. —There is a good demand for this time of the year. Quotations—Wethers, light 3gd to 4id, heavy 3d to 3«d; ewes, lid to 2:‘d; lambs, twos 7d to 7id, eights 7d to 7id, fours .6id to 7d, seconds OJd to 7d.”
