GIRL REFUGEE SWINDLED
ALLEGATIONS IN HOLLAND FORMER MILLIONAIRE LONDON LIFE RECALLED (Elec. Tel. Copyright —United Press Assn.) (Independent Cable Service.) (Reed. Dec. 30, .9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 29. A message from Amsterdam states that Sigfried Wreszynski, a former Park Lane millionaire, who was prominent 'in London in 1934 when he devised a scheme for thawing Germany’s frozen credits, has been placed in gaol in Amsterdam to await trial on charges of swindling an Austrian refugee girl and a Dutch business man. The Daily -Express says that when Wreszynski lived in 'London he had three luxury cars, and the walls of his Park Lane apartment were hung with paintings by Holbein and Van Dyck. His wife slept in a Queer. Anne bedroom. Tihe guests drank champagne from- gold -cups and used gold cutlery.
