DEATH AT 74 YEARS
MR. JUSTICE DETHRIDGE AUSTRALIAN CAREER (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 29. The death of Mr. Justice George James Dethridge, the chief judge of the Commonwealth Court of Conciliation and Arbitration, has occurred. He was also the chairman of the Royal Commission on doctors' fees in connection with the national insurance scheme, Which already had been affected by the deaths of two barristers in the Kyeerna air crash in October. Mr. Justice Dethridge was 74 years of age. He was called to the Bar, Victoria, in 1893, became a County Court judge in 1920 and served in that capacity until 1926, when he was appointed as chief judge of the Commonwealth Court of Conciliation and Arbitration.
