DISMISSALS OBVIATED
RIVERS BOARD’S WORKERS OTHER JOBS FOUND (Per Prams Associfltion.) HASTINGS, this day. The 100 men employed by the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board on construction works, and whom, it was announced last week, might have to be put off because of unfavourable weather, will now be employed in other parts of the board’s district until conditions improve. The-camps will be moved until the condition of the flooded areas improves.
