WORK IN RESERVES
DELAYED BY WEATHER RETURFING BEACH AREA Wet weather has delayed work in the reserves under the control of the Gisborne Borough Council, particularly on the new Palmerston road reserve, according to the following report submitted to the council last night by the borough engineer, Mr. E. fi. Thomas: — "Palmerstcu Road Reserve.—The usual progress in levelling has not been made during the past fortnight owing to the wet condition of the ground.
