Until yesterday afternoon entries for the Gisborne Competitions Society’s forthcoming festival were coming in slowly, but since then there has been a big increase in the number ol' applications. Many competitors from outside districts have entered, including a team from Napier. Outside entries have been received for the Highland and fancy dancing, elocutionary and violin sections. All entries must be received at the secretary’s office by Monday.
