The Ashburton County Racing Club’s meeting was held in fine weather before a large attendance on Saturday. The track was heavy towards the finish of the day. The totalisa'tor handled £14,070 against £13,362 last year. When Survoy fell in the steeples, N. Dwyer suffered painful injuries to his 'chest. An X-ray examination at the hosp'tial showed the dislocation of a collar-bone. E. J. Jennings, rider of Culverden, suffered bad cuts to the left side of his face. Results:—
