NO TOURNEY THIS WEEK LES ADAMS NOT COM INC The professional contest arranged • by the Gisborne Boxing Association i for this week, between Les Adams and Jack Davis, has been postponed - deiinitely owing to Adams being un- . available at present. He has advised the Gisborne association that owing to his recent activities in the ring, he is unable to secure leave to come to Gisborne for the time being. The association is seeking another opponent for the hard-hitting Davis, and hopes to be able to make an announcement concerning this selection at an early date. The tournament proposed for this week is cancelled, however.
