RUGBY AT RUATORIA
CITY BEATS UNITED LACK OF COHESION tflernld Correspondent.) The first Rugby match of the season in Ruatoria was played on Saturday afternoon and after an uninteresting game last year's champion team, United, was beaten by the City club team by 11 points to nil.
The most noticeable feature of the game was the lack of cohesion and enterprise and towards the middle of the second spell the majority of the players appeared to be labouring. Neither side was at its full strength and the services of one or two old timers had to be requisitioned. The referee was Mr. Oneroa.
