SMALL BAGS OF DUCKS
HUNTERS AT ELLESMERE MINISTERS TAKE PART (Pur Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A clear sky and lack of wind spoilt the opening ol' the duck-shooting season at Lake Ellesmere, the largest duck area in Canterbury. Small bags resulted. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, and the Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. C. Webb, followed their usual custom of putting in t> day's shooting at the opening of the season.
