SIX KIWIS VICTIMS
POISON LAID FOR RABBITS PHEASANTS KILLED OFF (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. A report of six kiwis having been found poisoned in Hawke’s Bay, through eating phosphorised pollard laid for rabbits, was brought before the Wellington Acclimatisation Society’s meeting to-night. It was stated that the same poison had killed oIT all the pheasants on the property where is was laid.
