MATAWAI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) The tennis season commences in Matawai on Saturday, when a Yankee tournament will be conducted. An invitation has been extended to all members of neighbouring clubs to compete. Mr. C. G. Fielder returned on Monday from a holiday visit to Auckland—r Mr. and Miss Henson, who have spent a prolonged recuperative holidav in Matawai. have returned to Auckland.—Mr. and Mrs. R. Webbe left Matawai recently en route to Wellington.
