DOMAIN BOARD MEETS (Herald Correspondent.) The Motu Domain Board met on Saturday night, there being present Messrs. G. O. Donovan, chairman, E. P. Fisher, H. C. Boys, F. J. Read, T. Jackson, N. G. Nisbett, and R. S. Fisher, secretary. Tenders for the lease of the Domain for grazing purposes were considered, and the grazing rights were leased to Messrs Egan Bros, for a short term. Several small accounts were passed for payment anil matters relevant to the domain were discussed. Mrs. M. Nathan, who has lived at Motu and Motuhora for a number of years, was the guest of honour at a surprise party held at Mrs. J. Boggs' residence, Motuhora. Mrs. Nathan has always generously assisted at social functions and many expressions of regret were voiced at her departure. She was made the recipient of a leather handbag and accessories, Mr. 11. Barty expressing the thanks of the Football Club to Mrs. Nathan for her help and generosity at all times. Mrs. Nathan suitably responded. Her future home will be in Hawke's Bay.—Mr. L. Rhyntl, who is at present on leave and visiting his parents in Hastings, is expected back at the end of the week.
