THREE “WIVES”
MET ON MAN’S ARREST
LONDON, May 27.
Three women who sat side by side in one of Old Bailey’s courts yesterday had each been unaware of the others’ existence until the man each claimed as her husband was arrested. In the dock was William Alfred Moss, charged, in the name of William Alfred Lacey, with double bigamy. A smart-looking, well-dressed man of 37, describing himself as a supervisor, he pleaded guilty and was sent to prison for 12 months.
