ADVANCE ON PEKIN
BIG FORCE OF JAPANESE FIGHTING RESUMED USE OF ARMOURED TRAINS (Elec. TYI. Copyright—United I’rn.ss Assn.) (Reed. Juy 13, 3 p.m. ) LONDON. July 12. Reports from Pekin state that fighting was resumed to-day in the vicinity of the city. Several thousand Japanese troops are advancing on Pekin, and armoured trains are moving up with high staff officers.
