INLAND AIR MAILS
DOMINION SERVICES \ (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A statement was issued to-day by the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, relative to the WellingtonAueklancl air mail service. The figures for the first two days were inflated by postings by stamp collectors, but the figures for the other six days could be regarded as indicating that considerable use of flic service would be made by the public generally and by the business community in particular when outward overseas mails were due to close,” said the Minister. He was of the opinion that the new services would be increasingly used as the public realised the advantages in transit and time offered.
