“SERIOUS CROWDING”

OPERA HOUSE WRESTLING FLEE BOARD COMPLAINT A warning regarding overcrowding in the Opera House was given at last night’s meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council.

Tlie secretary of the Fire Board, Mr. C. Blackburn, wrote to the council as the licensing authority.

“The superintendent has advised me," the writer stated, "that there was serious overcrowding at the wrestling match on the evening of Julv 3, and he would ask you to kindly notify the Wrestling Association accordingly, and should a further breach occur you will be at once advised."

It was decided to advise the Wrestling Association that crowding of the Opera House would not be permitted.
