FLYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT
CHANCE FOR AUSTRALIAN CONTEST NEXT MONTH (Reed. July 13, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 12. Roy Underwood, the Australian flyweight boxing champion, has been matched with Benny Lynch, the world flyweight title-holder, the bout to take place at Glasgow on August 11. Underwood will be the first Australian to fight for a world championship for many years. Jimmy Purcell, the Sydney welterweight, is matched on the same night with Jake Kilrain, the British welterweight champion.
