RECOGNITION OF BRAVERY CAPT. TAYLOR HONOURED (Reed. July 10, noon.) CANBERRA, July 10. The King has awarded to Captain P. G. Taylor the medal of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for gallantry (civil division) for his bravery during the late Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s unsuccessful attempt to fly the Tasman in May, 1935.
