TOLAGA BAY COURT

DISORDERLY CONDUCT Two charges of disorderly conduct and obscene language were dealt with on Tuesday before Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Tolaga Bay Police Court and the two men involved in the obscene language case were fined £5 each. Rewai Pahina was convicted and fined £1 and costs 15s for behaving in a threatening and disorderly manner and £5 and costs ss_on a charge of using obsence language.

Charles Bartlett was fined £1 and costs 15s for disorderly behaviour and £5 and costs 5s for using obsence language in a public place.

On a charge of procuring liquor while prohibited, Mata Aropa was convicted and fined 10s and costs 15s, and convicted and fined £2 and costs lss for supplying liquor to Whare Te Rure off licensed premises. Whare Te Rure was charged with aiding and abetting Aropa in the commission of an offence and was convicted and ordered to pay costs amounting to 15s.
