THAT the screen is mightier than the opera stage was indicated when the Queen Mary docked at Plymouth after a recent voyage to New York! One arrival, Nat Pendleton, the screen comedian, was seized upon by press photographers. An unobstrusive individual standing nearby was requested by the cameraman to pretend to be a Pendleton admirer proffering an autograph-book. After the photographs were taken, the unknown gentleman introduced himself to Pendleton. He was Giovanni Martinelli, the opera star!
