WAIROA BASKETBALL
SMITH ROSE BOWL (Hornld Correspondent.) .The competition for the Smith Rose Bowl was continued at Alexandra Park, Wairoa, yesterday afternoon, after having been postponed for a fortnight on account of the prevailing wet weather. The results were:—
A Grade. —Rovers 24 defeated United 7, referee Miss Stothers; Waiau 15 defeated High School 8, referee Miss Aldridge; Wanderers 9 defeated Redwing 4, refeiee Mr. G. Winter. B grade.—Wairoa Primary 12 defeated High School B 8, referee Miss Matson.
