ONLY N.Z. COLONY

IMPRESSION OF N.S.W. VISITOR FROM FRANCE SYDNEY, June 30. The Sydney Sun newspaper features a photograph and an interview with an overseas visitor, who arrived by the Wanganella to-day, who “likes this part of New Zealand.” His name is Mr. Joseph Brown, from the south of France. He told an interviewer that he never enjoyed himself so much and had never previoulsy met people who were so kindly and thoughtful. He added: "You have a wonderful country.” “But,” inquired the interviewer, “what cities in this country have you seen enabling you to form an opinion?” "Oh, Auckland,” Mr. Brown replied. pis fellow-passengers thought that Mr. Brown regarded Australia as a New Zealand colony. He left the wharf, sniffing with obvious appreciation, the bracing “New Zealand” air.
