CHEAPER AIR MAILS
LONDON-CAPE SERVICE KING SENDING LETTER (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 28. The King will send a ietter to the Governor-General of South Africa by air mail to-morrow, which will inaugurate the first part of the Empire air mail scheme by which first-class mail will be sent by air to all parts of the Empire for ljd a half ounce and Id for postcards. The Secretary for Air, Viscount Swinton, the Postmaster-General, Mr. G. C. Tryon, and Empire representatives, will attend the inauguration ceremony to-morrow at Southampton airport.
