BIBLE STUDENTS GAOLED
DOCTRINES OF ANARCHY
GERMAN ALLEGATIONS
BERLIN, May 31. Forty-two former members of the banned International Society of Bible Students were sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from four to 18 months.
The judge said that lie was not punishing them owing to their religious convictions, but because they belonged to an organisation whose tenets wore similar to those of communism. Though they sought to hide their aims under the mantle of religion, they tried to undermine the foundations of the State. Thereforetheir doctrines must constitute anarchy.
