TOKOMARU BAY NEWS
CHILD TOSSED BY COW (Herald Correspondent.) An unfortunate accident befell Alison Todd, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. .1. Todd, Tokoinaru Bay, on Saturday afternoon, when she was tossed by a cow on (lie road at Ongaruni'. She suffered a severe gash in one leg above the knee, necessitating several stitches.
Mr. I>. Jackson, limitation, spent the week-end in Tolaga Bay. —Messrs. ('. Cunningham and A. Bent tic, Tokoinaru Bay, were recent visitors to Gisborne.—Mr. ,1. Jamieson, formerly of Panariki, recently left to reside in Christclivtrch. Miss A. Ciillinnne, Wangaiiiii, arrived in Tokoinaru Bay yesterday to visit her brother, Mr. V. Cnllinane.
