RUM WORTH £7,000,000
LONDON DOCK CHANGES LONDON. Aug. 18. Stores of rum, valued at about 57,000,000, arc- to be moved from Poplar to the neighbourhood of Tower Bridge when tho Port of London Authority transfers Rum quay from its present, site to St. Katharine's deck, where London's biggest wine vaults are situated. An official of the authority said yesterday that the transfer is part of the £12,000,000 improvement and development scheme announced recently. "It will concentrate the wine and spirit trade in the most convenient centre, and will open a way for improvements at West India dock, which will allow us to berth more ships." ____,
