WOOL TEXTILE FIRMS ECONOMIES EXPECTED (Reed. Oct. 7, noon.) LONDON, Oct. 0. An important, wool textile merger is announced, Balts (Saltaire), Limited, having purchased the share capital of Pepper, Lee and Company, Limited, the Wike Mills Company, Limited, and Popplcwell and Ingham. The business will be run as heretofore. The fusion, it is expected, will avoid overlapping and doubtless will result in considerable economies.
