EACH GRANTED £2OOO SPONSOR’S GENEROSITY (Reed. Oct. 7, noon) JOHANNESBURG, Oct, 6. . Mr. f. W. Schlesinger is granting £2OOO each to Mrs. Findlay and .Mrs. Morgan, the widows of the two airmen who were killed in the air race. The remaining £2OOO will be placed in trust for the belli fit of their children'. Mr. Schlesinger says lie is not downhearted at the result of the race. It would prove a fillip to civil aviation.
