CLOUSTON’S PLANE
CRASH IN DARKNESS
LONDON, Oct. 5.
The Bulawayo correspondent of The Times says that; the crash at Gwelo of the plane piloted in the race, to Johannesburg by the New Zealander, Flying-Officer A. E. (Houston, occurred in darkness in an orchard.
He was unable to find a landing place for which he had been looking, owing io renewed engine trouble.
