A radio message from the Associated Press special correspondent aboard the Orion, in which the M.C.C. team is voyaging to Australia, states that Allen, the Marylebone captain, says there will be no regular appointment of a vicecaptain during the tour. He will nominate a deputy from time to time whenever he. himself stands down.
