MOSCOW SUICIDE EPIDEMIC

The newspaper Lc Matin declared to-day that a "suicide epidemic" had broken out among Soviet leaders in the wake of the execution of 16 men accused of conspiring to overthrow the Government of Joseph Stalin.
The newspaper declared the suicides were being fostered in many cases by the Government itself. It said a large number of persons, held at their residences, had arms loft in. their possession, apparently so that they would kill themselves.
