ANNUAL MEETING LOSS ON TRIALS (Horald Correspondum.) Mr. N. J. Walker, in the absence of the president, Mr. A. C. deLautour, presided at the annual meeting of the Wairoa Collie Club, there being a large and representative attendance. The report was of a satisfactory nature, and covered all the club's activities during the year, but the 1» ii nee sheet showed a hiss on the meeting of nearly 1330. Graham, Gisborne : auditor, Mr. A. 11. 11. Unvv'in ; competitors' stewards. Messrs. J. W. Peebles and D. Wilson; secretary, Mr. K. .McKae. Mr. D. Glynan stated that, he would replace the cup his son won outright last year, and for this was accorded a vote of thanks. It was stated that a syndicate would donate a silver cup for Class 11. Messrs. S. A. Dickie, K. Mcßae. 11. B. Taylor, and N. J. Walker each donated £1 Is for special prizes, for which they were thanked. The arrangement of the date for next trials was left in the hands of the president and secretary. A motion was passed to write to Mr. J. Powdrell a letter of sympathy with him in his illness and hoping for his speedy recovery.
