LOVLOCK’S VISIT
LEAVING THIS MONTH WELCOME ASSURED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Advice has been received by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, that J. E. Lovelock, the Olympic champion, leaves California on October 14 for New Zealand. Mr. Parry says that one can visualise the wholeheartedness of the reception that will l)o given to a man who is wonderful, yet modest , in great performances, and, whose praiseworthy achievements all can heartedly applaud. All naturally would wish to see him, and a shake oi' the hand will carry much with it.
