FOR COASTAL TRADE
NEW VESSEL ARRIVES 105 DAYS FROM GLASGOW (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Having taken 105 days to travel the 13,000 miles from Glasgow by way of the Mediterranean, the small motor ship ltanginui, built on the Clyde to the order of Mr. 'George Niccol, of Auckland, for the coastal trade, arrived at Auckland this morning in charge of Captain A. 11. Burgess, formerly of tho Melanesian Mission yacht Southern Cross, and a complement of 10 men. The vessel called at Gibraltar and Port Said, sheltered at Aden for a fortnight from monsoonal gales, battled against head winds in the Indian Ocean, and called at Singapore and Townsville. She proved a good sea boat. 'Which trade site will enter will be decided by the owners, who return on Monday from Australia.
