ECONOMIC ADVANCE ROAD ACCIDENT SURVEYS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A wireless message broadcast from the League of Nations at Geneva on Saturday says that- the League economic committee, in its report on international economic relations, states that signs of improvement in the general economic situation tire numerous enough although unequally divided among the different countries. Progress was made rather within a number of countries without a corresponding advance in foreign trade. Tlio League committee on the unification of roatli accident statistics held its first session during the week, and the importance of the statistics being as complete and uniform as possible was emphasised. It was also agreed that they should also mention accidents oil roads open to the public. Any accident involving death or serious injury .should be compulsorily notified.
