CITY COUNCIL ACTION RECONSIDERATION ASIvED (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. A large meeting of residents was field oit Saturday night when Councillor J. Hodgens, M.P., stated his case in reply to the City Council resolutions removing him front the deputy mayoralty and membership of two of the council commit fees. A resolution was passed requesting the council not to put the decisions into force, but. to reconsider them. A petition is also being circulated .supporting the request.
