MODERATE SELECTION BETTER LOTS SELL WELL (Reed. Sept. 19, noon.) LONDON, Sept. 18. At the London wool sales, 10,8156 bales were offered, including 4707 from New Zealand. The total of bales sold was 8084. There was a moderate selection. Withdrawals were frecruent among inferior, sorts, but. others sold well to the home trade at. current rules.
New Zealand lots sold as follows: Slipe halfbrcd lambs, Belfast, top price, 184 d; average, 144,d.
Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Company, Limited, are in receipt of the following advice from London :—"Sales continue with a good tone, and competition is keen. Crossbred are at par to 5 per cent advance "
