BLIND MAN CROSSES U.S.A.
NEW YORK, Aug. 7. Mia, a shepherd dog, had to-day led her blind master, Mr. Russell Darbo, a 27-year-old University of California student, safely to the end of a 3."day cross-country hitch-hiking adventure. Mr Darbo made the trip, he said, to prove to himself that blindness is no handicap in doing ordinary things with Alia.
