WRECKAGE OF„HOUSES SEVERAL PEOPLE HURT SYDNEY, Sept. 16. The central and north coast of New South Wales to-dav experienced a most severe gale of brief duration.

A house near Mullumbimbv was blown to pieces and three persons injured. Two other houses were badly damaged.

Considerable damage was done to property at Lismore and adjoining towns, root's and verandahs being lifted as though they were of paper' and carried for long distances. Several people were given first aid treatment. Dairy herds were panic-stricken.
