LORD WALERAN WEDDED

PLANS FOR HONEYMOON VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND (Hoed. Sept. 17, noon.) LONDON, Sept. 16. The marriage oi' Lord Waleran, who was second secretary to the GovernorGeneral of New Zealand from 1927 until 1930, and Miss Betty Carr, daughter of Sir Elmsley and Lady Carr, of Walton-on-Hill, took place at Walton-on-Hill to-day. The couple are joining the Orion at Toulon on a world tour, including Australia and New Zealand. The wedding guests included Sir Isaac and Lady Isaacs, Sir Harry and Lady Brittain, Sir Henry and Lady Horton, Lord and Lady Iliffe, Sir Roderick and Lady Jones, Viscount and Viscountess Wakefield, and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Garvin.
