STATEMENT BY MINISTER
A letter from the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, in acknowledging the receipt, of the copy of a letter sent to the Prime 'Minister, the lit. lion. M. .1. Savage, by Iho Gisborne Chamber of Commerce states: “It is unlikely that the Government will alter the procedure set out in the Budget as far as this year’s ■finances are concerned, but if,you would have information that, would he helpful in connection with the possible readjustment of the taxation system next year L should he glad if you would forward it to me.”
