CARD EVENING (Herald Correspondent.) There was a very good attendance at the card evening held in the I’atutahi Hall on Thursday night in aid ot the Patutahi School funds. Among those present were Alesdamos Kent, Baty, Reach, McGaveston, Wilson, Lawlor, Ladd, and Reel; blisses Wilson, Munson, Worsnop and Baty. The prize-winners were: Ladies. —bliss Mausou, 1; Airs. C. Peach, 2. Gentlemen.—Air. A. Worsnop, 1; Air. Peel, 2.
Mrs. S. Kent, Mukaraka, is the guest of Airs. ,0. Peach, Patutahi. — Mrs. James Atkins, jun., is visiting Hawke’s Bay.—Aliss E. At. Butcher is spending the term holidays at AVailii. —Atrs. W. Stuldlings, accompanied by Iter son Gordon, is on a holiday visit to Auckland.
