Tlis Excellency the Govc-rnoi-Gen-ornl Viscount Galway, has. received advice from (lio Secretary of State for the Colonies to the effect that two of the candidates who appeared before the Now Zealand Central Board of Selection', Colonial Appointments Committee, in December last, Mr. 3ST. G. Hay, Duncdin, and Mr. K, F. A. Grey, 'Wellington, have been selected for appointments to the Colonial administrative service in Nigeria. Messrs. Hay and Grey will, leave New Zealand for England at an early date in order to undergo ft special course at Cambridge University before taking up their duties in Nigeria.
