TAXI DRIVER KILLED
SMASH WITH PRISON VAN
ESCAPE OF OCCUPANTS

JERUSALEM, Aug. 20. A shot ft rod at a taxi driving near Raiuleh killed the driver. The taxi skidded and collided with a Black Maria van conveying prisoners. It then overturned and three passengers were injured.
A British constable fired at the assailants from the prison van. Police dogs trailed two men, who were arrested. It. is reported that the prisoners escaped from the van.
