Reed. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 19. Sir Josiah Stamp will deliver the presidential address, “The impact ol Science on Society,” at the one hundred and sixth meeting of the British Association for the Advancement ot Science which opens at Blackpool on September 9. The attendance will be about 2000, including many delegates from overseas.
The 15 sections have a heavy programme of papers and discussions over the whole field of science.
