AMBASSADOR'S :MESSAGE
TOKIO, June 13
The maintenance of the traditional Anglo-Japanese friendship was the watchword given by Mr. Shigoril Yoshid'a, the newly-appointed Ambassador, before leaving Japan for England.
As a means of ending certain misunderstandings the Ambassador, says the newspaper Asahi Shimbun, will havo a conversation, with ±he British authorities centring on the non-exist-ence of Japan's territorial ambition.
