LITTLE ENTENTE ANXIOUS

GERMAN ARMY MISSION VISIT TO HUNGARY LONDON, May 25A disclosure that a German military delegation connected with ordnance and other technical departments of the Keichswehr is visiting Hungary is arousing considerable attention. The Budapest correspondent of The Times instances the Little Entente’s nervousness, as is evident over the question whether the conversations indicate mobilisation and other military plans. Hungarian officials deny any such significance.

The News-Chronicle’s Budapest correspondent emphasises the secrecy in the discussions, which may be a German reaction to reports hitherto unsubstantiated that Russia has assisted in the establishment of aerodromes in Czechoslovakia and has also sent pilots and men.

The correspondent points out that while Austria and Hungary are puzzled to choose between Italy and Britain, owing to the former's victory in Abyssinia and the latter’s uncertainty in action, both Austria and Hungary are anxious to avoid closer relations with tiie Italians, whom they distrust, and the. Germans, whose domination is feared.
