Douglas Gibson in the Supreme Court to-day sought judgment for £6OO for alleged libel from Vinton Patrick Walsh and Felix Newfield. the plaintiff representing that the defendants, falsely and maliciously wrote and published certain words concerning the plaintiff to all members of unions affiliated to the Federated Seamen's Cnion and certain other words to the general secretary ot the Australian Seamen's Union, and other words to the secretary of the Auoknnd Seamen’s Union.
