Delegations arrived from the Cook Islands in-day by the Alaiuigaiiui to represent the'views of traders in. regard to marketing methods, and bringing with them evidence that had been formulated bv various interests in the islands. The party of 11 consists of representatives of European and dative fruitgrowers and marketing concerns. One delegation represents a petition, for a fruitcontrol board and another desires the arrangement of guaranteed minimum prices for oranges, bananas and tomatoes.. Alakea Tiuirau. the ariki and paramount chief of Rarotonga, is a member of the party. .Judge 11. F. Ayston. the Resident. Commissioner of Earogtonga, and .Mr. \V. {roodwin. the director of agriculture, also arrived to represent the Cook Islands Administration.
